For 2024 we’ve revised the award categories to best reflect the changing collector car world and to give each award winner the time they deserve to accept the award on stage.

Young Achiever of the Year
The person under 30 years old before November 22, 2024, who has demonstrated outstanding work in the collector car world over the last year. This can be across all fields, whether paid or volunteering, hands on or more administration-based.

Personal Achievement of the Year
The person who has made a significant difference to the collector car world through their personal endeavours, whether through work or volunteering, during the last year.

Bespoke Car of the Year
The award for the most significant one-off or low-volume new car that has been launched this year, whether fully coachbuilt, created from scratch or adapted into a tasteful restomod.

Specialist of the Year
The collector car specialist that has made the most significant contribution to the collector car world, or that has achieved something new or special for its own benefit. This goes across all genres, from car sales to restoration and parts supply.

Restoration of the Year
For the best classic car restoration completed since October 2023, demonstrating skills, understanding of history, provenance and overall achievement. This is open to all eras and types of collector car.

Book of the Year
Celebrating the finest works published between 1st October 2023 and 30th September 2024, the Book of the Year celebrates meticulously researched publications that offer enthusiasts unparalleled insights into the heritage, craftsmanship, and culture of the classic and collector car world.

For the car club, big or small, that has made a significant achievement this year, whether it celebrating a significant anniversary, improving member benefits or anything else that the club and its members can be proud of.

The museum that has made the greatest achievements this year, whether in special exhibits, additions to the collection, new innovations or anything else out of the ordinary for the organisation.

The best publication, article, website, video, film, social media or any other type of collector car-focused media of the year. This may be a new release or a significant achievement, and can be entered by individuals or organisations.

Breakthrough Event of the Year
The collector car event that had its inaugural running after October 2023, and that has demonstrated a successful launch, innovation and/or achievements. This award is open to all new events around the world, regardless of size.

Rally or Tour of the Year
The best collector car rally or tour that has taken place since October 2023, regardless of size or location, but demonstrating innovation, participant satisfaction or significant achievement. This category excludes competitive stage rallies, which should be entered into Motor Sport Event of the Year.

Motoring Event of the Year
The world’s best motoring event, whether a festival, concours, one-marque gathering, anniversary celebration or other collector car show. Entrants to this category should demonstrate specific innovation, success or achievements since October 2023.

Motorsport Event of the Year
The best collector car competitive motorsport event in the world, from the disciplines of racing, hillclimbing, stage rallies, sprints, drag racing and more. Entrants to this category should show innovation or achievements specific to the last year, since October 2023.
